Looking to get into TikTok marketing? You’d be crazy not to. But where would you even start? If you’ve been constantly pondering over this, then this should help – as more businesses prep their plan of attack ahead of the holiday season, TikTok has shared a new video series, which outlines some of the key elements of TikTok for brands, including creating a business account, creating and uploading TikToks, and setting up your Ads Manager profile.

TikTok Tutorials II

If you look at this clip, you’ll notice that videos follow a basic, easy-flowing format, outlining some of TikTok’s essential functionalities. Okay, given, the voice-over might have been a little bit annoying, but it’s tolerable enough within the context of the information being presented.

These guide clips then move into more advanced elements, such as the TikTok Ads Manager, with each clip having its own set of little tips and pointers to help along the way. To their credit, TikTok is good at providing context and emphasizing element-specific points to really drive the point home. This is actually an effective approach as it better guides users to the direction they should take to progress their ambitions on the app.

This isn’t the first video series TikTok has released. As part of its broader eCommerce integration push, TikTok has already released several previous guides, both published and video material, teaching casual users and professionals how they can maximize their growth on the platform, as well as the most effective steps to take to establish a strong presence. Since short-form content has proven difficult to monetize, TikTok decided to approach passive income generation through more ‘creative’ and diversified means. While that equates to a bit more effort on the side of creators and influencers, it also allows them to dabble in various fields and avenues, growing their wealth on different fronts.

The Wrap

There are some handy notes here, as is seemingly always the case with TikTok and its trends and figures, even if you’re confident that you already know your way around the app and across all of its key elements. The true key to success when it comes to TikTok campaigns boils down to creative – understanding what and what doesn’t work in the app.

For this, you’ll need to actually spend time scrolling through the app or work with established influencers to get the insight needed to formulate an effective, comprehensive approach. At most, these pointers could help get you started on the key tools for brands.
