If you’re looking to improve your TikTok marketing game, then that’s good, given how it’s the hottest online commodity right now! With this in mind, the platform has recently announced some new additions to its ‘TikTok Academy’ learning resource, providing you with free, simple overviews of how you can best utilize the various elements of the platform.

Academy Gates Are Open

Originally launched last October, with only two courses, TikTok Academy has now expanded its curriculum to 17 total courses, with five more units added recently to boost your TikTok understanding. This is a good idea, given the current trends and general direction that Social Media is presently going down.

Here are the latest additions:

  • Celebrating Diverse Cultures on TikTok – learn how to engage with multicultural communities on TikTok.

  • Developing Always-Engaged Strategies – develop your paid, organic, and creator-led content approaches to maximize your TikTok presence.

  • TikTok Fundamentals – which is focused on developing more effective TikTok ad campaigns.

  • Creative Codes – which covers six key best practices for creating TikTok content.

  • Lead Generation – generate more leads from your TikTok marketing efforts.

All things considered, each course includes a range of visual examples and insights that helps underline the key notes. While the majority of these courses come with substantially common knowledge for most marketers, it’s still worth taking these refreshers as they often include info nuggets that you might have overlooked or weren’t aware of at all.

To top it all off, TikTok’s also looking to launch more courses later this year, focused on commerce and retail, effective content creation, and brand safety. Combined with the existing resources, that will provide you with a range of ways to up your TikTok knowledge, and ensure that you get the most out of your TikTok marketing efforts.

The Wrap

TikTok, of course, does have a concern that it might not be available soon, due to potential bans of the app. That could see more marketers hesitate in investing too much time and effort into the platform. However, as it stands, it remains the entertainment app of the moment, especially for younger users, which looks to stay that way, at least until a ban is enacted.
