Are you looking to advance your digital marketing career to the next level? If so, then this might help – this week, LinkedIn just published its 2022 listing of the top 25 companies in the Marketing & Advertising sector, which ranks the leading workplaces to grow a career in the industry.

Look to The Top

The methodology LinkedIn implemented to choose the top companies had it analyze a range of on-platform data elements, including retention and attrition, opportunities for advancement, promotions, upskilling, and more. Based on this, the earliest (and best) example we’ll come across is Havas Media Group Insights.

If you look at the actual listing, you’ll see that LinkedIn also shared notes on the roles and skills that are in demand for the specific organization for each of the listed companies. Furthermore, there are also relevant LinkedIn learning courses for those looking to improve their recruitment prospects.

As per LinkedIn:

“You can also explore open jobs and people you may know at the company. If you see a company that feels like a good fit for you, follow their company page or turn on job alerts to stay on top of future opportunities.”

Those in the top 10 are a collection of familiar names in the sector. It’s handy to see what skills and qualifications they’re currently looking out for. Hopefully, transparency on such requirements could help you get a foot in the door. If you’re eager and looking, then these names should ring a bell:

  1. Havas Media Group

  2. Merkle

  3. VMLY&R

  4. Criteo

  5. Spark Foundry

  6. Power Digital

  7. Quotient Technology

  8. PHD

  9. Digitas Health

  10. Publicis Health

There may also be others that you hadn’t considered, which could broaden your horizons on your career planning and research.
