LinkedIn just rolled out its latest quarterly report for its Sales Navigator platform, which includes a couple of new features to help sales professionals maximize their in-app opportunities by using all kinds of LinkedIn data and insight on highly relevant leads and trends.

Navigator Upgrade

To start, LinkedIn has refreshed the app’s home page, putting more focus on ‘Alerts’ and ‘Priority Accounts’. On top of this, there’s also a new ‘Bookmarked Alerts’ tab to customize your display.

The new layout allows sales professionals to stay on top of key elements for their processes, allowing them to continuously operate at peak efficiency. Additionally, the new layout also enables increased customization levels via the bookmarked updates.

LinkedIn has also updated its Search options within the Sales Navigator, providing more insight on how users can use available data to help them more quickly pinpoint relevant accounts and quality leads.

As LinkedIn explains:

“Now, when clicking into the Search toolbar, sellers will automatically be directed to a new intuitive and collapsible larger view that shows all available filters, including additional options like “Company Headquarters” and “TeamLink connections of.” As you refine your search and change filters, you can watch your results update as you go, shortening the time to find your ideal leads at new or existing accounts.”

This is a good way to highlight the various search filters, which most people tend to miss because they don’t realize that they’re even available.

Lastly, LinkedIn’s also adding new and advanced CRM connection options, including the integration of a new ‘At-Risk Opportunities’ list, which will highlight contacts who have left open opportunities. These will be generated by available data within your CRM, so it’s safe to assume that as you continue to expand your connections, your CRM, in turn, will continuously churn out evolving figures, bringing you more up to speed with connections that might have overlooked certain opportunities.

The Wrap

LinkedIn has proven to be a huge asset for online marketers thus far, with this updated Sales Navigator becoming an even more valuable tool, providing a range of insights that are based on LinkedIn’s massive database of professional information. There’s no doubt that such a tool can help guide you towards more noteworthy and beneficial connections.

Synergistically, the newly laid out home page helps to showcase the Sales Navigator’s potential, where the upfront presentation of search filters helps marketers better understand what available options there are in terms of refining discovery.
