Are you considering starting a business in 2023? Honestly, any year is a great year to start, the things that would really matter are your reasons, goals, and ideas. We get it, it can prove very challenging to start a business, there are just so many things to consider, right? But what if you had help? What if you had the proper guidance? If you’re looking for help in crafting a brand that would better resonate with your chosen audience, then this might come in handy.

Start Her Up!

So, to provide a bit of enlightenment, a team from Spruce Road shared their branding checklist through an infographic. The team broke things down as follows:

  • Brand Vision

  • Define Your Niche

  • Logo

  • Font and Colors

  • Social Media

  • Website

Brand Vision

You have to specify or properly contextualize your brand vision. What’s the story behind your brand? How does it relate to your target audience?

Define Your Niche

A premium step that defines the success of any business – just who are the ideal people that you wish to cater to? Defining a niche might take a bit of extra work, but it’ll also take you farther over time.

Logo

Your logo must still carry your branding; your message. Your logo will serve as your visual identifier, so work with a talented designer to craft the ideal one.

Fonts and Colors

Your branding must carry over into any typographies you’ll be using. Yes, even your fonts should be consistent with the overall theme and color palette of your brand.

Social Media

You have to build a consistent presence online, it’s one of the fastest ways to gain brand reputation and visibility. The more people see and engage with you on social, the more chances you have to grow.

Website

Having a dedicated website outside of your social platforms is one of the best ways to gain direct traffic. A website culminates steps 1-5 and would serve as your brand’s Magnum Opus.

The Wrap

It’s a rather simple guide, with the steps themselves being straightforward and not at all difficult to follow. But, again, the real challenge here boils down to execution. Depending on how you approach these steps, the results won’t always be the same. If you give it your all and really try, then you might see more success. Given this, it’s no longer a question of ‘if you’re ready’, but rather ‘are you determined?’
